One of the goal's of Elliott's trip to Home Depot was for grandpa to make a set of pipe and pipe fittings for him to play with. Now it may at first seem like kind of random thing to do, but Elliott had been showing an intense interest in our 'pipe fitting' clothes hampers...well, he kicked them apart first, then swung them around in his crib...then tried to put them back together again (the next day after they had been removed from the bedroom). (The hampers are now safely glued together to avoid future nighttime mayhem. Ahem.)
Anyway, all this to say, is I think grandpa had a good idea!

Needless to say,this was more fun for us than anyone has a right to have. Grandpa was delighted to take him to Home Depot to pick out his "toys". He loved his little Home Depot apron with the pockets and we couldn't have been more pleased. Such fun.
